Spike lied!  I should have seen that coming, but I guess I'm so used to the sweet, "good" Spike of seasons 5-7 that I forgot how truly evil he used to be.  You did a great job writing this scene!

great job with this chapter, very true to the characterizations of the show, very spike-like ambush...lol...made me grin in spite of being scared and aghast...kind of like my reaction to most of spike's season 2 behavior :) great chapter, on to more now :)

oh no! Poor Buffy! Spike has captured her - it will be intriguing to see what he does with her. very intresting story - I am enjoying it!

Evil double crossing Spike at his best. You really encapsulated why you’ve gotta love and hate the vampire at the same time. His taunts were cruel but I wasn’t expecting anything less. Nice chapter.
