glad to see another several chapters of one of my favorite stories.  Yes, Spike was both right and wrong.  He really needed to argue with Buffy about telling Giles or let her know that he'd tell him if she didn't, instead of going behind her back, but hindsight and all that.  It's not as if she isn't stubborn.  :-)

Great update! You're creating a tremendous feeling of unease underneath the text. Well done! It's a great read, truly. I especially liked, that although Spike and Buffy had their  blowup, she realized she was overreacting. You have them united together, against a common enemy, with Giles in their corner. I love it! With Giles on the case, there's probably an obscure prophecy somewhere, from the distant past, just waiting to be unearthed by him ::)).........................You're very faithful with your updates, and it's appreciated.

It wouldn't be Spuffy without the obligatory misunderstandings but I'm glad they sorted it out. Now for the reactions....

Finally! Buffy gets it. The others do thing for her own good when they don't like her choices, like who she is dating. Spike told Giles out of fear for her life and the life of the baby. Not out of some miss guided attempt to control her life but to save it. How could she have doubted him, he almost died trying to send her back to heaven and she questions his motives? Bad Buffy.

Spike going to Giles will make it easier for Giles to accept him. Good work on the tension and other things Buffy and Spike are feeling over their situation.

Loving the relationship between Buffy and Spike.  Feels real.  Now if Giles can just get a clue and accept them all would be better.  Except for the big bads.
