I love the premise of this, it sounds very interesting. I also like how well you showed Dawn's grief by being somewhat abstract.

Gosh what a thoroughly original premise! Loving it - while certainly optimistic it's not completely fluffy and your set up in the opening chapters was fantastic. I'm particularly interested in what disasters Dawn and Spike may still want to try and avert and what the cost to them will be. Oh and if Buffy were to discover what they've done I wonder what her reaction would be...gratitude for all they've risked and sacrificed? Disappointment that they flipped the 'natural' order of things on its head? Awe that they would change the world for her? Anger at their seeming manipulation? Or maybe a combination of all these things...honestly it's gonna have me up thinking about it until you next update. Help me avoid the insomnia and update soon please :-D
