Wonderful, a true reunion of body and mind.  Loved the details of life in Ireland in those days.
Thanks so much! I was having fun researching it.

Aha! Galway 1753! Liam and Darla are lurking about....
Now then - does Buffy need to dust Darla so that Liam never becomes Angelus/Angel? Or does she need to dust Angelus? That would be more of a 'price' - but what about the time paradox? Unless this is a parallel dimension...
I have more questions than answers, so I shall attempt to be patient while I wait for the next update...
I will endeavor to get the update posted as soon as possible!

There's always a price, and changeing the future could have big consequense.

This is true. Therein lies the tale...

Oh I think I know exactly what happened in Galway Ireland in 1753. And I think I understood what the old lady meant. I won't say anything in case I'm wrong. But if I'm right yeah it's going to hurt Buffy. Depending on how it plays out it might be really bad.

So Buffy finally let Spike have some of her blood. It was really the last thing they hadn't shared. So many others had tasted her before. It was somehow right and and perfect that she shared it with him.

There used to be a law that if a couple presented themselves as a married couple (even if they weren't) to the public in the eyes of the law they were married. I think it was in North Carolina. That was in America but I think it came over from Irish and Scottish immigrants who were used to hand-fasting. It was part of some kind of morality law way back when. It was supposed to be a deterrent so unmarried people wouldn't go off for a little hanky panky. Signing in at a hotel as Mr. and Mrs. made them legal. It was supposed to make them think twice about pre-marital sex. So does that make Spike and Buffy husband and wife for real?
Maybe they are truly Mr. and Mrs. Pratt. I had never heard a lot of that - need to do some research now.

I think they've thought more than twice about pre marital sex though. And they approved.
