You did a wonderful job with this one - love how you brought in both the Good and the Bad about her relationship with Giles - it's a realistic telling of Giles and Buffy and their life together.  NICE way to bring back the theme of bricks for the closure.

An impressive piece that connects the dots, showing just how far Buffy can walk from the Giles-approved chrysalis she was to the adult she becomes. Very good job.

Wonderful!  Spike is very wise and it's about time someone saw it. 

This reads like a scene that would have fit right in with the ending of the series - I would have liked something like this as a counterpart to all the intended Buffy confused about life, men and love treatment that Joss Whedon went with.  Well, thank goodness that fans have Fanfiction and the outstanding FF writers to bring in a different perspective. 

This fits so well with Buffy and her life that I can also see a variation on the theme set in the current Buffyverse SF comic books.  Buffy so often gave over her power and control over to other people.  I love your very mature Spike.   

Aaah, sweet ending full of hope for the future.
