An absolutely brilliant chapter!! The fight scene was exceptionally well written and the talk between Joyce and Buffy was very in-character for both of them!! I love Joyce's warmth and her very motherly behaviour toward those she cares about and you did an excellent job of capturing those qualities. I can't wait to see the final showdown between Buffy and her friends - and Angel of course!!! ;) I think the fourth of July fireworks will pale in comparison to some of their reactions!! :) Thanks for a simply splendid chapter and I really look forward to the next one!
Thank you!!! I figured Buffy needed someone on her side besides Anya and Tara. Someone who commanded some authority with the rest of them. You will get to see the reactions of almost everyone. I tried to stay true to the AtS timeline so Angel is a little busy right now.
