I just discovered  this story and I love it!  I was crushed to realize it wasn't finished, any chance you are still working on it?

 The best line is a Saber tooth sized cat out of the bag.  Very creative!  Hopefully, Buffy and Spike will meet soon after several hoops of course or where's the rest of the story, right?!
