Nicely composed scene, with some urgency applied by the need to get the gem without any ceremony. Writing flows smoothly, and characterization is spot-on.

In this instance Xander better hope Buffy is right about Spike. Otherwise Buffy would have to drive him to the hospital!! He could wind up with worse injuries than his shoulder.
