OH so he doesn't need a job, I was thinking that is what he was talking to Anya about, when they danced.
Lol! No, no job required...

All will be revealed before long.

Thanks again.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this story but i'm onit now and will read as much as I can tonight. Wonderful continuation of this fabulous fic. Great that everyone knows where they stand and that the boys are trying for the sake of the girls. Now that the finances are settled maybe things will quite down and Buffy can go back to school. Thanks for the great read.
No problem, honey.

Strangely, though there are brief moments of calm, I wouldn't say things ever really quiet down for our poor pair in this series. Somehow, one thing just seems to follow on from another.

I'm glad you're enjoying things so far.

Quick question - are you a brit? I have never seen anyone write british rules for pool before - which of course makes sense that Spike would want to use them would teach xander to play with them as well - I was just rereading this chapter and thought it was fab!
Guilty as charged. I'm a Scot by birth and upbringing. I moved to North East England at 17 and have been here ever since.

*grin* Well I was going to try and wait to read this so I don't overwhelm you with reviews - but it keeps taunting me, so I will read a few more chapters instead of cleaning house *grin* - ahhh I loved this chapter - a great way to start the next fic! The reward money and the "spare change" of the Gem stuff is a fab explanation and i love it. A great beginning! You are making this hard for me to resist reading this all the way through when I should be cleaning lol
Thanks, honey!

And cleaning is really overrated. The writers really never accounted for all the gold, other than the gem, that was in that horde. It may have delayed all your housework, but it makes me really happy that you enjoyed it that much.

Loved the romantic poetry and the witty repartee. It's so sweet.
Thank you! I hope you enjoy the rest of the series, too.
