Excellent work. I think that even if Spike tried a spell to cover up his "love" for her, deep down it would still remain. His love for her is too embedded in his very core and essence. Perhaps that is one reason why the X still stings so much ... why he has the dreams so much ... etc. Nice work. Look forward to more.

also...(in response to your author's note) he's claimed her. Fact is, I don't think a spell could ever REALLY diminish what he feels for her...because it's too hard to tell when his feelings for her really started. It's not like there was one definite point on the time line. Heh I figured he probably claimed her and that was part of it. I'm glad he did. I love this story. Can't wait for more!
