Hey sweet, have just started reading this. LOL... I must say the chapter title made me do a double take.

Poor Buffy, I feel for her but at the same time I would love to just shake her and knock some sense back into her. How can she allow herself to be treated like that!? But then that is often the case in an abusive realtionship, isn't it.

Off to bed now as it is getting quite late over here but I will be back tomorrow to read more.

Kind of funny. While I started reading your story, I saw your review pop up for my story from this challenge.

Anyway I love how you've started. You've done a great job of using Dawn to explain what has happened in this universe. I also like how Buffy has thrown her self into normal, the fact that Riley seems to have gotten his biting fetish in the reality as well. The fact that Buffy already sees vampires as more than just animals should also smooth the way for the vampire I'm betting will be at the auction.
Okay, off to the next chapter.

Poor Spike with his bravado causing him even more trouble. Really enjoying his one and can't wait for Riley to get his (nice three dimensional vampire woman too....hope Buffy gets to see them that way, not just SPike). Kathleen

I just read all of the chapters in one sitting. I'm an idiot for not starting this one sooner. The idea of Spike being a slave in Riley's household sort of turned my stomach. But the writing is very powerful and emotional. I'm just hoping that by the end of the story Riley will know what it feels like to be in chains and beaten down. I'M REALLY HOPING FOR THAT!

Fascinating. It's as though the complacent Buffy of Season 6 has showed up in the marriage to Riley. I like how Dawn is written, both concerned and aware. I look forward to more.
