Wow! Great chapter. For a moment there I thought she was really going to leave Riley, and I love how her own behavoir towards Spike is what made her be more forgiving towards Riley than she should be.

Excellent depiction of Riley's abuse and Buffy's response. I hope Buffy kicks the snot out of him before the end of the fic.

Arg! It wouldn't make sense for Buffy to suddenly leave after years of verbal abuse, but god I wish she had. I never liked Riley and you've really pumped up his negative features here.
