I've been wondering about that. There really was no reason why the vamps should leave any of the kids or Lorne alive. Well, none that we know of right now. ;) So yeah, this way actually seems just like the mindf**k they would love. Even more so if they left some kind of message left for the prisoners, to be played right before the house blows up.

That is such a cruel thing to do, give Loren and the kids some hope, but she is a vamp after all! so happy that Spike and Buffy got to renew their bond. Just love this fic. Wonderful chappie, thanks.
Lol! I kinda get the impression that Scheherazade has been the centre of her own little world for so long that she'd have been much the same even before she was vamped. I'm glad you're enjoying it.

wow..that was an incredible chapter...very hot, very sweet and touching...and at the end, you draw our attention back to the fact that they *so* dont have time for this! lol :) great job

What a devious mind shez has! Lorne is quite right about human nature. *shakes head* I really enjoyed this chapter and Buffy and Spike recconecting!
