Ok, how happy can I say I am to see Buffy dropping Ethan in Spike's lap like that. Yes, I'm bad.... but it shows a lot for her character, at least to me. ^_~

NICE last line -

Wow, you were right about that, she did leave a little more of her childhood behind in that burned down building. Spike definately needed it and she was most willing. Just loved this chapter, thanks.

A fitting end for Ethan in so many ways, and yet another opportunity to blur that line between black and white. Gotta love Spike for that.

Ewww, slayme, Buffy feeding Ethan to Spike. I love it. That leads to the question what kind of vampire would Ethan the sorcerer make if Spike turned him. Hmm. Interesting.

What beautiful vengeance, and one that both Buffy and Spike get to be part of, and a much better end for Ethan then just a nameless vamp. I like the guilt that Joyce felt at how poorly her treatment of Buffy had been because of her denial. I also like how this will allow their relationship to grow stronger because they no longer have a huge lie between them.

I love it. “Bon apetite, Spike” she whispered, turning away and leaving a bit more of her childhood behind in the building. “Enjoy.”
