Great chapter - what a colossal error with their interpretation of the ritual.   Sure hoping that Angel missed Dalton's heart I'm really enjoying him in this story.

What a fantastic chapter. Buffy talking to giles about Spike. Joyce seeking out information about vampire's and her daughter. Buffy's knowledge about Dalton and his master's helping a human and to hunting and poor Dalton getting staked. It was a fabulous rewrite, this whole story has been. Wonderful chapter, great read.

Please hurry with the next chapter! This story has a lot of potential. I love the way you've handled it so far and the way it's progressing, but that little cliffhanger from the first chapter is killing me! I just happened to stuble upon this, and I really want to read more of it soon.
