Turning up right during Bilbo's battle had to be interesting, indeed. One thing - you'll want to capatalize "Dunedain", because it's a name and title. "Rangers" is also a title of a group, so that's another consideration.

What a great start for this crossover. More story please.
I almost didn't post this story at all 'cause I didn't think anyone would be interested in a crossover with LoTR. I couldn't have been more wrong about that! The response has been great and I promise the next chaper will be posted tonight. Thanks for reviewing. :)

Very nice, i love Spike's hero status.
And that he travelled with Gandalf after meeting up during the battle, where i'm sure he was a very valuable asset. Since he is one of the best warriors in the verse.

I'm glad you like it. In all my other stories, Spike has to earn the respect. And for once I wanted him to have already earned it by the time the Scoobies came on the scene. Hope you'll enjoy what comes next as much. :)
