Man, do I hate that Buffy's obligated to the Council again, especially since they'd just tried to have them killed, of course to their way of thinking, she's under their control again which is just as good. Well let's see how this all ends for Cordy and Willow. This was a fabulous chapter, girl.
Well, technically, they only tried to have Spike killed. I'm sure they regard it as completely different.
Of course, just because Buffy has agreed to have a watcher and for them to submit reports doesn't mean that she'll be following any orders.

Powerful line here, "Then, maybe her death actually achieves something worthwhile, rather than her ageing herself into her grave by stages, trying to magic the world and everyone around her to be how she wants them." LOVED IT
