wow...he *did* miss her...i like lydia, and you kind of actually made me feel something akin to sympathy for quentin travers...no other fanfic writer *ever* has managed that, so....kudos to you :) great chapter, love :)
Well, some of it I made up and some of it is from 'Pretty Maids' by Christopher Golden, but it's not hard to imagine, the way the council recruit within families that those sort of things could happen.
