Yes, they keep getting in deeper and deeper. That's what attracted me to the project, how would they get out of it?

Glad I could keep you guessing. Stories that are too predictable just aren't as much fun. I try to keep some suprises for the end.

Yeah, it's a great idea and a good way to get out of what could be a bad deal - trust me, they'll discuss all the angles before deciding what they should do.

Thanks Verda. The elaboration on the contract was due to reviewer's responses. Everyone seemed interested, but as you know, the story is not going that way. Did provide for some good dialogue though.

Buffy better not find out about the whole thrall thing. Spike's right. At this point, Buffy would not even want to understand the difference between being able to make her do things, but not being able to make her feel things. She's in denial as it is. Gotta say that that contract has a rather interesting clause. Want to know more. Please?
Yeah, Buffy is in serious denial right now, and knowing what Spike could do/has done, no, she would never trust him not to take advantage.

wow! that sounds a bit scary...i wonder if it will get that far...that might be interesting to see (the reversal i mean) *evil grin*...very interested in seeing where this goes from here :)
Meant to put in a new challenge if anyone wants to take the story that way...cause interesting as it is, this one isn't going to.
