What I like was how William's behaviour intantly popped up with a distressed lady dressed so close to his era. No way would Spike be like that with his normal victims. He likes them that way.
Well, I think it was as much Spike hoping to get laid without a fight as it was William, but by the time they were done... yeah, William might have been in charge. :) Buffy's hardly a normal victim. :)

ambivalent about this one.
Just an old semi pwp. Not meant to have any redeeming features - well except maybe for the rose.... Never intended more when I wrote it so long ago.

Love it whenever William comes out to play. That has to mess with her mind. How can a soulless vampire have a sense of right and wrong. Really enjoyed it. Another great fic, thanks for sharing it.

I absolutely loved this story-- great job! I like the way the bad, rude man is so easily replaced by the Victorian gentleman. :)

This was a great twist on the episode. I loved how perfect it felt for Spike to not want to take out the Slayer when she was all weak and helpless. The Victorian gentleman aspects also felt perfect and I loved how he got her shoes for her and even knelt down and placed them on her feet. Thanks for the read.
Thank you. Yeah, in the Jossverse,he probably would've killed her straight away (although, he didn't, did he...?hmmmmm); but in my world he never wants to do it without a fight.

I guess it could have a sequel - maybe something that doesn't mess with canon too much, but has them developing a slightly different relationship through the years...*goes off muttering about plot bunnies*
