When "Never" Came by pfeifferpack
Chapter: Chapter 2 and epilogue

This explantion makes perfect sense to me. I always wondered who's soul Angel got. I mean after we saw what he was like as a human I honestly couldn't see his human soul making him feel guilt. Liam never had it in him. He had a personality transplant with the soul he was cursed with, Liam was a user and a drunk and it never would have worked to curse him with it. The perfect happiness thing makes a lot of sense too. The soul loved her and the demon would have taken great pleasure in taking her virginity (hell so would Liam) so I never thought he got his own soul from the original curse. Willow re-cursing him with his own soul also explains a lot of his behavior too. Most of the bad things that happened once he moved to LA were a direct result of his own actions.

This made me cry the whole way through, the two of them finally realizing that they threw away the best thing they ever had. Maybe now they can finally be the friends to each other that they never quite managed to be before. No more judging just acceptance.

that was bloody fantastic! i do love the way you write your stories. i can easily fit this into what happened after the final scene in chosen.
Thank you so much! I do like to write in a way that canon doesn't have to be completely chucked (except deliberate AU's like time travel or such).

Finally got to finish this... had to stop reading and take the boy-child to school *sigh*... really fabulous fic, sweetie. I am glad Xander is starting to make some peace with himself and his memories of Anya... he has a long way to go but I am hoping he will get there in the end.

I loved Buffy's conversation with Angel... and the stuff about his soul was so very clever!

I'm going to imagine that somehow your Buffy and Spike manage to find a way back to each other in this world.

Thank you for a lovely story.
Thanks love! In my stories Spike will always find and get his Buffy in some way! He loves her too much for me to deny him. Glad you liked this.

Hee! Lovely, sad explanation of some things not covered by Joss and Co. - Nice to see Buffy and Xander bond over their grief. Thanks, sweetie.
Thank you, hon. It seemed to answer a few things they never did on screen. I do think Buffy and Xander were maturing and would have bonded over mutual loss. k

I loved the conversation between Xander and Buffy. Xander’s information on Angel and how it was Anya that did the curse was fascinating. I like how Buffy made the connection between Angel’s actions when he was first cursed and Spike’s comment about an exception with the chip and bad guys. I also like how Xander told Buffy that he wasn’t telling her this so that she wouldn’t trust Angel but so that she had all the facts and that she could make a decision where he was concerned. I loved Buffy’s side of things during her conversation with Angel. I enjoyed reading this, thanks.
You give such beautiful detailed feedback! Thank YOU. So glad you enjoyed it. k

oh i would love to see what happens next :)it'd be great if things turned out differently than they did in the show...love the interesting take on anya's history and the curse...great job :)
Thank you! I'd like to imagine that Spike survived the battle in LA and he and Buffy reunited. I may hop forward with a sort of revisit to have that scene at least (while incorporating the details from this one). Glad you liked my ideas about Anya and the curse. Thank you.

Really enjoyed this -- your Anya was spot-on. The explanation of the curse too.
Oh thank you! I love Anya and glad I got her right. The curse explanation just seemed too likely for me to pass up. k
