having read so many fanfic, it comes as shock to read spike having a plan of action and it being the right thing at the right time. thank you for the fun read.
Lol! If Spike was as stupid as some fanfic (and canon) writers would have us believe, then he would have been really really dead within a year of being turned. Just because he's often happy to let others do the thinking most of the time doesn't mean he isn't capable of it from time to time. plus he was probably getting bored with all that waiting around.

figures that the first would use angel to try to get to spike...i would think that would be an area where he might be psychologically vulnerable...good for him for standing up to him...off to read more of this exciting fight at the school... :)
Yeah, I figured Angel was probably a gimme for The First when it came to trying to get to Spike, far more so than The Mayor or some of the others that they used in canon.
