Gaaahh there HAS to be a way to keep Spike! This is so lovely, so emotional. Nicely done. I think you are on the money...it was the "Summers" not the "Slayer" that drew Spike in.

It's not enough, just not enough time. They saved the world, they deserve more time. I could feel her panic and pain as she watched the sunset. That was excellent, sharing their lives, mentioning Spike in her diary was cute. Hate they only have one more day, just not enough time. Great chapter, thanks.
