Joss killed off Anya because Emma said she was done playing the character. He knew he wanted someone to die in Chosen that the audience would care about, and she was the only actor that didn't want to play her character again. That's why Anya got the tribute episode earlier in the season.

This was really good! I like the way you presented each of the personalities - Willow's arrogance, Xander's ignorant fear, and Anya' knowledge combined with her fear of being abandoned. Hear's hoping Buffy can make it work! Then I really want to see what they do to Willow.

I always liked Anya, and thought she was underutilized in the show (1100 plus years as a demon and nobody used her as a reference tool? Idiots). Glad to see her on the right side even if it is opposing Xander.

Great Chapter! How stupid are Willow and Xander? Do they REALLY think she will forgive them for this? If she ends up losing them (the boys) and doesn't die herself in the process I have no doubt she just might kill them with grief.
