Intense chapter! I especially loved Buffy's confrontation with Spike at the end. I like how you had Spike point out to Buffy that she would have let him bite her in "Out of My Mind". I always wondered about that as well. If his chip hadn't fired - and for all she knew, it wouldn't - he would totally have had her. I don't think I've read a fic that addresses this before, so good job on that! And need I tell you how much I love the ending? The rapture of Spike's "innocent, yet somehow sensual touches". The question she asks him ... I cannot wait to see how he replies. This is just a wonderful story. :-)

I just now discovered this wonderful story of yours. Dark, but very good. I hated Riley (which I'm pretty sure was the point), and to my surprise loved the Harmony bits. And I can't wait for the Spuffy.

I hate that Xander had to find out what happened to Spike, but maybe he will realize that everything is not all black and white. And leave it to Giles with the way he is dealing with Buffy and Spike. And go Buffy for at least this time not living in denial.

Giles would completely bit knocked of his feet with this revelation. What she went through with Angel and now what about Spike? Thanks for letting Xander know just what Riley did to him. Xander just had his blinders pulled off and even he can't see that clearly right now. Well, that's the question at the moment right now, isn't it? Does Spike even know himself. They all have things to work through, I'm glad you're not throwing them together just yet. They both need some time, so do the scoobies, though it might be a bit easier for Xander to get on board, now. Thanks for the update. School, does put a crimp in your writing time. Hey, we may have had to wait but it was worth it. Great update. So long Riley, but is he gone for good? And Xander, he was left speechless for a change. I can't believe he aactually believed Buffy in regards to Spike. But will he use this info. at Spike out of anger?

Well, I suppose whether he should answer that depends on why she wants to know. That's not a question I want to answer in the definitive if I know they're going to be cruel.
