This is just so... right. I like this Buffy - the one who actually explains why she is hesitant to explore the possibilities of a relationship with Spike in full view of the judgemental scoobies. I like the fact that she lets him know that she can't handle the drama, rather than letting him think that she is ashamed of being with him. And I love that even though Spike is hurt, he understands her feelings and is willing to give her time. And the ending - just perfect. You made me smile.
