Golly moses, now what?  Buffy reminds me of Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer, who doesn't even flinch when he gets bitten--who owns ever so many pit bulldogs--she's walking the line for Spike and I am so curious to know when/how/what comes next--I'm not sure now if I could quit reading this if I tried.  Let's hope they survive the path back to the present.  More please if you will and thank you.

I feel like a blockhead with yet another - "Great Update and Thank You," but that is just how I feel.  Great tension and emotional trauma for both your characters and your readers.  Love how all the Magical Cure is making both Spike and Buffy look at their history.  How important this going back and facing your past life is just as important for Buffy - of course, much more for Spike, but maybe while Spike begins to heal, their past lives together may also.  Because, Buffy so  needs to find her true core, strengths, and full capability to love - The question of Why she never reached out to him must be running through her mind continuously - faced with her love for Spike in this time she has to understand and face that crucial point - why did she repress all her own thinking about her past life with him.
