having a Buffy re-read and this is just terrific, don't know why I haven't read it before. Summer of 2002 was especially poignant, great writing.

Oh, I love this!  Great Buffy voice and wonderful little snippets of her life.  I especially adore the season 6 one - so powerful for so few words.

Wonderful... I'm still all choked up.

Aww, thank you :) I was trying to imagine how my own reaction would have been if I'd been in each of those situations, and then supplanted them with plenty of Buffyness. I'm glad you liked that story :)

Great story.  LOL at Buffy re Angel dumping her and Spike sticking his nose in.  I think he believed her.
Didn't anyone else ever wonder why Angel gave in to Joyce's demand that he leave Buffy so easily? If Angel really had loved her as much as he said he did, he wouldn't have let himself be swayed so quickly by Joyce to leave Buffy and to leave Sunnydale (or maybe he would've; David was in talks for the spin-off :) ) Spike would have point-blank ignored Joyce and found a way to stay with Buffy anyway. The only conclusion that I could come to was that Liam, Angel's human counterpart, didn't want to be in a relationship where he couldn't have sex, and decided to remove himself altogether. Notice it never stopped him from having sex with anyone else, and it never occurred to him to find a way to anchor his soul. Angel gave up. He didn't stay, because he couldn't have sex with Buffy, and that was that.

Wow, that was long-winded. Sorry! Thanks for the review!

I liked that.
Loved to see the changes in those tiny snapshots.
Those tiny snapshots, I think, are what made her into the woman she became. And ya can't really blame me for manipulating them to suit my own purpose :) Glad you liked it. Thanks for the review!
