Spike's sacrifice is so beautiful and touching.  I love how Buffy wants to hang onto their moment together.

There are some stories that I feel compeled to read, over and over again, because they strike some chord with me. I have to admit, and I've said it so before, that I was very skeptical about this whole challenge. . . . but I'm so very glad you've proved me wrong, and continute to prove me wrong.

I'm reading this again (and not for the second time, but third or fourth I think) because I see you've continued. . . and boy am I glad you have.

The Ring saga was one of the first "fantasy" science fiction books and something I loved as a child (you know, when the first editions were printed -hah)and when someone finally did them justice on film, I was very happy to introduce the stories and characters to my son. . . . and now, you've done what I thought was impossible and added two completely diverse universes and put them together in a totally credible manner.

Kudos. And thank you again.

you know, i resisted reading this for the longest time...having read the books multiple (and you wouldn't believe how many times if i told you) and seen the movies (again with the disbelief) I couldn't see a way for the two 'verses to be melded. i have to say, you have done so quite seamlessly and with excellence. I will be adding this to my favorites, and hoping that you update soon, and frequently. P. S. Tolkien, I think, would be proud. you've kept the spirit of the fellowship alive.

I love this story it's great. Read three quarters of the book years ago but never finished it, though I would have if it had been as gripping as this version.
