Oh great start here! Hey I never snapped to the first words Willow said to end the spell! Lots of possibilies there with the healing beginning (Buffy's heartbreak over Angel? Buffy's walls around said heart?...Youza lots to choose from). Great catch on an important and unexploited line.
Love the whole lips of good, hands of good and IT...LOL but very good inner Buffy voice there.
I think Spike is protesting too much (in canon it looked like it was "self defence" against his perceived rejection). Reall really nice...going to favorite this to make sure I don't miss any.

Just warning you; it is a little off-canon... Spike becoming the chased and Buffy the chasee, for one. And, as you'll see in my next chapter, he and Buffy already know he can hurt demons and are at the 'patrolling together' point. I made the changes in order to get my plot moving... it really doesn't have anything to do with any events from the show otherwise, so I hope it doesn't matter too much.

A very promising start! It's not often that someone writes Buffy as the one who wants Spike. Good job. Can't wait to see what you do with this.

Yeah, I confess I got the idea for the 'lips of good' from another fic where I saw it used once... But yes, Buffy is on the hunt! I purposefully made Spike more resistant than in the show just so I could do that. Hehehe...

What a great beginning! I think 'The Hands' were my favorite part, but the description of the kissing was really great. Can't wait to see where you'll go with this, good luck!
