Anyone know if we ever got a first name for Principal Snyder or the first one that was eaten by hyenas (his last name was Flutie, right?)

Thanks.  I was just going to give it up and go with Doug Flutie - that's some football player isn't it?

Any thoughts on Snyder?  Herbert?

How about Randall or Reginald? The R is known, and those two sound like something I'd want to hide from people. Also, they were among the 200 most popular names in the 50ies, which is a likely decade for him to have been born. (Yes, those are US stats.) (I DO like Herbert, I can see him as a Herbert; but with his name plate reading "R. Snyder", ...)

Also, Spikes Slayer2, isn't Bob a common nickname for someone called Robert? So that would work...

Personally I think the little twerp looks like a Ronald...but Randolph, Reginald, Rodney and Rolland would get him teased enough as a kid/teenager that he would have turned into the bittle little weasel that he turned out to be.

I'd go with Rodney, because he so called himself Hot Rod in high school.

How about Richard?

Now I'm confused.  Is the consensus that both first names begin with R?  That would make all three principals first name with R.  Weird.

And who was it that said "don't call me Bob" was that Snyder or Flutie?

Flutie said that the kids could call him Bob but they don't...
