I don't remeber much, except.....
It's based in season 6
Spike gets hurt saving Buffy and is stabbed by a demon that causes him to go into a coma-like state
Dawn finds him and freaks out due to him being a living, er, unliving statue a goes to get the Buffy/gang to help wake him up
Buffy goes into his head (a la Willow from the Gift) where she tries to find Spike and goes through his memories in the process. (Him as a boy, alone, by the seaside, Angelass- heh)
Also in the beginning Spike meets Tara at the magic box where she uses magic to fix a locbox that held some dear treasures of Spike's after Riley(Corn-cob butt) blows up Spikes crypt.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Just curious, why do some writers take all their works off line? I can certainly understand no longer wanting to keep your website active - but why, unless they want to remove their work for professional reasons, not archive them at one of the current sites?

For some people, it's the fear of being found by RL people- I know that one writer at TSR has had to repost under different names, several times. But I think for most it's professional.

Why take off - as you write more and get better, some of those old stories start looking pretty bad, too.

I have the completed version...except it's at home and I have to look for it on my external hard drive. I had to quickly save quite a bit to my external drive when my computer was wonky. Then, well, it crashed. Thank god for the major quickness of saving my files!
I know I have it, but I wonder about sending it to people because of an author's permission. They took them down for a reason.
So...I'd ask for your email except...I don't want to send something without ComedyofErrors permission...and I don't have an email or permission from this writer...So...I'm stuck...sorry!!!!

Does anyone remember a story on Allaboutspike where Buffy gets a talisman and thinks it means she's doomed to have sex with Spike? He gives her a CD of music, but spoils it when he tells her he ate the guy that made it for her and they consummate the luv thang in a music practice room at Sunnydale U.

I do remember that one. From a really long time ago. No clue (as usual) about whose it is or the title, though. I don't think it was one of nauti's, although it sounds like it could be. Seems to me it was quite short.

It wasn't nauti's and it was regular novel length. I may have to spend a couple of hours cruising for it.

You guys rock with the finding and giving of info on all these older and outstanding stories - Thank you all so much for all the help you give. I look forward to reading "Achilles Hell" - novel length and long sagas are my favorite material to read. I actually managed to find, with the help of TSR the "Baby Steps" by Kallysten -

Here's a weird looking page I found the other day via the Wayback Machine. It's a list of stories from THE OLD VAMPIRE'S KISS ARCHIVE. You will find stuff there that wasn't listed in the most recently deceased version--including the only completed version of "Stranded" I've found online. These are individual hyper-linked pages of the stories listed in alphabetical order. (The couple of hyperlinks I checked worked.)

The text on Bloodshedbaby's pages is white, on a white background. I ended up using NoSquint (a Firefox Addon) to change the text color. You can also press Ctrl+A to highlight everything, and that should make the text visible, too.
For me, most of BSB's backgrounds are a dark color with white letters. If they are white on white as Kristi suggested, maybe you could copy and paste into a wordpad to make them easier to read.
On the vampkiss link, if you scroll down to AuthorsA, you can go through all the letters quite easily without any broken links. That's what I did. I saved two of the stories I had links to way, way back. Grass Stains and A Reluctant Hero.

The 'Stranded' story doesn't work for me. There is no text (yes, I pressed Ctrl + A AND I tried Readability) and afterwards my browser shuts down. Does anyone have this story saved somewhere?

I need help. I'm looking for a fic where Buffy, Spike, and Giles are on a trip looking for something, but on the way back Buffy gets crushed by a rock slide. Giles goes for help while Spike stays with Buffy. The help is Riley on an Inisiative helicopter. While Buffy is recovering, Spike comes over to give Dawn and Joyce a break from watching Buffy. While he is there, he carries Buffy upstairs so she can get cleaned up. I think Buffy and Riley are still together and that Buffy is starting to fall for Spike. That's all I remember, but I would really like to read it again. It was a good fic.
