Just want to say how much I have enjoyed reading your great story, my only worry is that it might be ending soon.  Looking forward to the next chapter.

I like the idea of Spike's sacrifice being somewhat of a scary burden for Buffy.

So good!  Funny, the bit about Harris, and heartwarming.  Your writing is like a renissance painting, rich and filled with color, detail, emotion.  I am enjoing every chapter on its own,each one is a gem.

Typical Buffy, worrying about the what ifs, but Spike's right.....especially with her not having to do it alone, she - they - will figure it out. She already has full sentences and the names right. Once she has the visuals and scents and sounds in front of her, the rust will fall away soon enough.

Typical Buffy to also compare what Spike did to her own capabilities. She's competitive, especially with action. Ah, but always ready to look for the flaw or short-coming in herself, in this case that she doesn't act in love like he does, or doesn't think she would/could. It probably made it easier to jump for Dawn that she expected death at the other end. And now she wonders if she could still do it if she'd known she'd go to her personal Hell.......she hasn't said it out loud, yet, but it's Buffy......it's part of it.

I hope the Scoobies show some gratitude to Spike for getting her out. Though I'll love seeing them shut down if they try to shove him out the door now.

I'm so glad that you took up your wonderful Underworld work again - I had always wanted one of the fine Buffyverse writers to create a rescue journey for Spike and Buffy.  I love the one you have created for us.

You have created such brave and heroic and characters of such great determination and will to live and love.  Thank You - I have always enjoyed reading your work and I hope that you can find your love and passion for your characters and writing - it's such a gift to be able to create your own worlds and make them live on the page.
