Love how you are bringing Buffy back so slowly but with every advance someone has to pay a price.  Your treatment for Giles and his oh so unwilling giving over any trust and acceptance of Spike.

Well I'm not surprised by Gile's reaction, the Sccobs have a history of using and abusing Spike. He never got any credit for sticking around after Buffy died, or when he got his soul. It's obvious that he expects  Spike to slink back into the shadows once he's done his bit in bringing Buffy to herself. As for Willow, she deserves whatever's oming her way.   

Love the chapter!  That's about the only Byron poem I remember from high school even though I did a paper on him. 

Willow gets her spell thrown back at her, LOL! She deserved it. Now if Tara can just figure out about the memory tampering.
Giles, be careful. Dawn might just decide to kick you out too if you start upsetting Buffy.

Slapped myself for not checking if this was finished when I got to the end of this chapter, since I'm liking this story as well as your writing and really would like to find out where you plan to take this.

I knew Willow would try something... and of course she's just going to keep trying harder.
And of course Giles is willing for Spike to stay around while he's helping, but he's assuming he can control Buffy's feelings for Spike. Idiot

What a lovely long update!  Spike is definitely helping Buffy the right way but how will she react to him being a vamp?  I hope Tara realises what's going on with Willow, she doesn't deserve to be so deluded, and typical Giles reaction, my way or the highway!

This felt so sweet and a bit of sadnes.

Such a great chapter.  I love the tenderness that Spike and Buffy feel for each other.  They are such a great team, even when one of them has barely a clue about it!  And good for Spike to stand his ground with stupid Giles.

Awesome - loved how Willow's spell boomeranged back on her.  Hee!

Of for the love of.... She was having a pretty good day all things considered. Okay yeah bad dream in the morning and the flash of Joyce wasn't good but otherwise not a bad day. And Giles has to start up. Can't he just let sleeping dog lie for a bit? Buffy is going to connect the dots soon. She didn't hear his heartbeat. Depending on what Giles does she just might panic and toss Spike out. Then where will they be when she has another nightmare and knocks Dawn and Giles through a wall?

Willow got some backlash huh? Serves her right. Tara is figuring out what Willow did to her. That conversation isn't going to be pretty.
