Go mama bear! Wouldn't it be nice if we could write our own mothers? This confrontation about leaving with Spike could get really ugly, I'm on pins and needles waiting for more.

Whoa......danger Will Robinson! Joyce may get a whole new view of Slayer strength soon. Gaaahhhhhh. Really looking forward to a gang tongue lashing (and not the fun yummy kind) directed at Giles of the brilliant unnecessary plans! Great update.

I appreciate how you show the automatic reaction of the abused to assume that if they're being mistreated, it's because of something *they* did, even if they were nowhere near the abuser when the abuser flew into a rage.
