Fantastic chapter!  But what's up with the grapes?

I have just  read this story on one go and I really love it. Every chapter has been delightful, and your potrait of Spike is just perfect. Exactely the way I like him. I really hope you update soon this story because it´s really great. :-)) You´re a wonderful writer.

Heh. I had wondered why he didn't bring grapes from the start. Worth it for the punchline. I'm very excited to see where this is going to go. Spike is obviously and understandably enjoying the ability to wreak violence, and to no longer have to take the abuse being served to him. Buffy can't physically stop him, either. Will he be able to stop himself, without the years of practice he got in canon?

Okay, that part made me laugh.  Not something I expected him to say.  Their conversation didn't go too bad, but I have a feeling Buffy's not about to tell him she's pregnant anytime soon.  I don't think she trusts him enough for that yet, even though I know the baby is his.  Since he was wearing the gem when they were together, and he's now able to have some human abilities like going to the bathroom, then maybe it was the gem that made it possible for Buffy to get pregnant.  That's the only explanation I can come up with.  I do hope she wouldn't resist him for much longer, I hate how she's always worrying about what her friends think, like they have any real say in her life.  He could have let all of them die.  Anyway, I was glad to see a chapter so soon after the last one.  More please!
