So, I'm not sure if it's the site's fault, or stupid hotmail, but the email alerts for new reviews seems to be spazzing out. Even when I get new reviews, the corresponding emails don't show up in my inbox. is this a site thing? Or hotmail?

I'm not sure. I wasn't getting them for a while (and they are still kind of spotty) and I blamed hotmail. If anyone with another e mail (yahoo, g mail, whatever) is also having trouble, then it's probably the site and we'll have to let Dia know.

I had a few that I didn't get.  I found them when I checked my account.  I have RCN and use Eudora, so I don't think it's the email provider. 

Whether or not I get them seems to be very inconsistent. I'll get one, go to answer it, and find two more waiting there.  Then I might get three at a time - all current and accurate.  It's a mystery...

For the longest time, I got no notifications (and I have gmail).  Then I got two the other day in my spam, and then one in my inbox.  Just checking in your BSV account every once in awhile for unanswered reviews will never fail, however.

*nods* yes, Scarlett. It only takes a second to click on your account and check the reviews. I do that on other archives. It's nice to get the notifications, but their lack doesn't make it impossible for an author to know there are reviews. You just have to work a little harder for them. :)

Mine goes to Yahoo, and I don't think I've had a problem.

If it's recent, I can't help, though, cuz I haven't had a review in a long time (haven't updated in a long time, either, so there's a coincidence).
