I really enjoyed this and the one before it.
I wish that Spike had stayed with Buffy and William though- as great as it is that he and his Buffy are happy, the threesome sex was hot. lol

Magdalena as a background to sofia's story was excellent. (she deserves a tale of her own.) so much for giles' contrition, he is back to being travers jr. very good read, thank you.
Magdalena made me sad, but her story had been on my mind ever since I first mentioned Sofia, and it had to be written. Giles isn't that bad, you'll see. He just feels like he's losing what little control he'd managed to regain. He feels useless and lashes out. Hopefully he'll manage to behave in the future ;-)

Just caught up on a couple of chapters. Great job. Buffy's going to be a little upset with Spike, but I can see why he wouldn't want to claim her; he does have to leave, after all. The slayer dream introduced some interesting plot bunnies. Looking forward to more.

I love Spike's honor and desire to protect the woman that is his, rather than the one he has been given (you know what I mean). And I really hate Kennedy. Never seen her even if a fic, where I liked the character. I think Kennedy hate is even more universal than Riley bashing.
Spike wouldn't be Spike if he didn't do everything to protect those he loves. I hate Kennedy too. Deeply. But seeing her with Willow again when I watched a couple of episodes for research, I realized she isn't mean for the sake of it, and wanted to explore the possible reasons.

I think I reviewed the biginning of this one somewhere else but I can't find where so I'm going to continue reviewing here...
I share Giles' concern about what might be happening in the 'verse that Spike came from... surely 'his' Buffy will be needing him? So glad that Xander seems to have grown up, but not surprised that Kennedy hasn't. Time for her to be given a reality check. Now waiting for the Immortal's dastardly plan to be revealed...

Great story - up there with the best of them. Don't know why you're not getting more rave reviews - I guess its too much plot and not enough bedroom scenes.
I can't thank you enough for this review, it really boosted my spirits. I like this story, like writing it, and I think it's not half bad. As far as lack reviews here is concerned, I just attribute it to people not knowing my stuff (I mainly write AU/AH, at Spuffy Realm), but this fic gets only a few reviews on SR too, while my previous one did really good.

Went back and read the first one again - of course I remembered it pretty well too, cause it was way memorable. Just love the "proper story" you've got going here.Just wondering who will be first to realise there maybe trouble in joyville. Do the 2 Spikes know how they got to be there? Or will it be one of the Scoobies to bring it up?
