H - I'm glad somebody noticed what a stupid idea it was for Giles and Xander to take Spike back to his crypt where Glory would know where to find him.  Very nice piece.  You moved Buffy down the road to loving Spike just the right amount.

This is the way Buffy would have acted as we knew her to be....she really was kind and compassionate as Spike said in S7 and after what he endured she would have acted like this not as they showed her....promising it meant something never to be forgotten and then promptly forgotten upon her return.

Well done! This is so much better than the abrupt little scene we were given. And then although Buffy promised not to forget what he did for her and Dawn in totally selfless sacrifice, in season 6 she never once referred to this incident or allowed it to influence her terrible treatment of him. Bad writers!
