Really nice story, characterizations were dead on.

Ahh. Nice. I'm going to pretend this actually happened. Loved Spike's reaction to the Snoopy dance. And Xander's “Now I see why my family puts so much booze in this at home” - makes sense to me; I've never been able to figure out why people drink eggnog. The gift kiss(es) are very, very nice - and really, one would think that Spike and Buffy might have been just a bit curious to find out if anything remained after the spell. If the opportunity arose. Or there happened to be some mistletoe hanging around. Or there were any other remotely feasible excuse to find out....
What do you mean "pretend this actually happened"? Did I not just say it did? Would I lie to you? *grin*

Egg nog and me? Not a perfect pair. I never liked it either. I remember badgering my mom into buying a half gallon at the grocery store when I was little so I could try this fabled beverage. Even with cinnamon sprinkled on top....no.

I agree there should've been more curiosity after the spell. After all, the spell on said "marry him", not "mack on him all day long." So yes, excuses would have to be found afterwards. Sometimes you've gotta make your own opportunities. Actually your comment has inspired to me to wonder what would happen on Buffy's b-day and later Valentine's Day...if this story had actually happened. Which, as I said, it totally did!

Thanks for your kind words.

That's so sweet. If that had happened maybe Buffy would have healthier mentally after her resurrection.
I think she absolutely would've been. When you're climbing out of depression (or anytime, really), you need to find the little joys and go from there. Though I personally think that Spike smoochies would rate pretty high on the joy meter. LOL Thanks so much for your kind words!
