This situation is intriguing. So it's Angelus who went to hell through Acathla and now Buffy has a souled Spike who is grieving for Drusilla. Can't wait to see what changes this brings to following events...

What a beautifully written chapter, Spike/Drusilla interaction was excellent I could feel tears in my own eyes as I read. Buffy's reaction to Dru's ashes and how she mourned her lost love was terrific, now Buffy and Spike have to come to terms with their losses and work out how Spike will cope with his soul. Great read.

Oh Wow! Dru got her sanity back (a bit) with the soul. At least enough to give Spike her vision in a coherent manner. Now Buffy and Spike have to take care of each other.

Something funny; I have a file of fanfic ideas that I might someday do, and number 3 on the list was "Spike turns back to help Buffy against Angelus, causing Angelus to die, so Willow's spell to resoul Angelus jumps to Drusilla and Spike."  So seeing your story was awesome.  :)

Though my story if/when I get around to writing it is going to be Willow/Spike and Drusilla/Xander instead of Spike/Buffy.

Really interesting start, good writing, and great end to this chapter. Would like to see where this goes.
