Water Under the Bridge by BuffyMeetsSpike NICE - I like everything of your work that I've read. Behind Blue Eyes 10/24/2013 06:51 pm Chapter 2 Amazing little story! Highly enjoyed. Thank you so much! I think this is one of my favorite Spuffy fanfics out of the hundreds I have read this year. It is so well written and satisfies so many of my longings for Spike and Buffy to have a loving, meaningful future together. You are fast becoming my favorite fanfiction author. Thank you so much! I need to get writing again (once the whole craziness at my place o' employment calms down), so the reviews really do help make me want to get back to work. Very Nice. Only sad about Buffy's son.... Blue http://www.tthfanfic.org/authors.php?no=12717&list=profile Thanks so much! I guess her son is in a good place, but just not a good place with her. Jane 10/06/2012 02:47 pm Chapter 2 Absolutely loved it, only complaint there wasn't more of it. Very dissapointed with Dawn. If Buffy wasn't the Slayer she wouldn't even exist. It would be nice to read a sequel sometime. Maybe set in the future when Tyler's grown up. He should know what his mum's done to keep him safe. Brill. I've thought about a sequel, but haven't gotten it figured out yet. But I am so glad you liked it! Thanks for leaving a review. janab 10/03/2012 10:49 pm Chapter 2 I love this story, fits well with the characters, thanks for sharing Janab Text Thanks so much! That was at least three hankies. Thanks for the sweet story. Yeah, I teared up a few times writing in. So much pain and heartache over the years. But I think they (especially Buffy) needed it for her to really see who and what Spike was. Now they are past all the hang ups that stood in their way before. Spike is a man in his own right no need for reassurance from anyone that he is doing the right thing. Buffy doesn't look for approval from her friends anymore before making a decision. I like to think that eventually she matured enough to move past her friends' needs and fight for her own. magnus374 10/02/2012 03:24 pm Chapter 2 A lot of emotionel issues and baggage, but it ends well, as it should. She was the queen of baggage, but I'm glad you liked the ending. MB 10/02/2012 01:35 pm Chapter 2 Really loved this story!! Thanks for sharing. Thank you! You are quite welcome SeaPea 10/02/2012 04:26 am Chapter 2 Well, I definitely love how you spend your commute! You have a lot of original ideas. Nice little story. Thanks so much. Boredom can be a great motivator for creativity, as is the 'must not sleep past my stop' factor. What a sad tale of a Slayer and a Vampire - all their history to have become so distant from each other and life - That harsh about Dawn. WOW - first time I have ever come across a story where Buffy would leave behind her child or not fight to her very last breath to save her child or Dawn. This is a very bleak and distressing picture of Buffy and what happens to her post Sunnydale. I'm glad that she at least has the potential to have an immortal friend and companion in Spike. Nice story - glad you didn't just have them fall into each others arms. Yeah, that didn't seem right. Glad you like it! That explains the Immortal. And it is actually in line with Buffy. Something major emotionally happens and she shuts down and just goes through the motions doing what others tell her or what they think she should do. The only real emotion she showed was when he broke Angel's nose and that was about Spike. In a way I can understand not bonding with her baby. She knew by then that she was immortal. To fall in love with her child knowing that she would outlive him would be hard. Like she said unless someone cut off her head there was no way in hell she wouldn't outlive her kid. She really is all avoidance girl when it comes to emotional stuff. But that makes her intriguing to write about. It's as if Buffy has been sleep walking all these years...sort of an extended replay of after she came back from heaven. She was just looking for ways to feel. This is an amazing chapter! Thank you so much! Jane 10/01/2012 01:09 pm Chapter 1 Great start, a bit sad but hopeful now she's found Spike again. There's always hope! magnus374 10/01/2012 08:30 am Chapter 1 Poor Buffy, she really need someone who understand her, to make her live again. Hmm... who could that be... ;-) SeaPea 10/01/2012 06:25 am Chapter 1 Dang, are you prolific! Here's another story by BMS. I'm in. Well, this one won't be as long, but I do hope you like. My secret to being prolific: Have a long, boring commute by train. I have at least an hour a day where I can write uninterrupted by kids or work, and that makes all the difference. | |||
