I've only just found this fic because of the update. Wow! What a wild ride! Willow's arrogance, Giles' oblivious blindness to everyone's faults (except Buffy's), Xander's naive faith in Willow and Buffy's overwhelming instinct to protect Dawn all portrayed accurately, if to the extreme. I love the way Tara has finally had enough of Willow's manipulation and lost her rag. Not sure about Anya's motives, though.
I'm not sure whether Willow can be saved now, or even if she should be. I wonder what Spike intends... and how come he can still manipulate portals now he's lost the other 'gifts'?

xander comes up with the idea of the reversal spell, ao his mind sort of works. but he trusts red completely, so his mind doesn't work. great update, love the tale.

Oh wow, *very deep sigh* How incredibly satisfying to see an update of this. I think this would have to be my very favourite fic and I am so turned and twisted inside it that I feel immensely hungry for the conclusion. I want to know so badly if Buffy realises she still loves Spike now that the thought spell is gone. I want Jacob to die!!!! dammit. I want Willow to get the bitch slap of her life. BUT--if it isn't your plan for any of those, I'll live and just wait impatiently for more of this fic. Thank you, Denny.

Still loving this story. In this chapter, I especially liked Willow's take on what Tara's fear was. It goes far to show the cracks in Willow's psyche through all this.
