Great story, so original and heartwarming :) I also liked the way you pointed out how would it feel to be treated like Spike. I always felt sorry for him; yet, I have to admit I don't think I realized the whole gravity of the situation before I read your story.
The only thing that was confusing to me is the matter with Buffy's soul. As far as I understood, she never lost it. Yet, Tara couldn't feel it - why is that?

I enjoyed how this story turned the tables on Buffy; how she got a taste of her own mistreatment of Spike to make her realize how awful she was being to him.
