Excellent!  This has been one of the best fan fiction stories that I have read thus far.   What I liked most about this story is that you did not rely on a Buffy/Spike sexathon, but rather relied in real STORY TELLING!!!    Truly the best story I have read in months.    Thank you so much for sharing your talent with the rest of us.

Oooh boy!  That was fabulous.  I've spent several days working my way through your epic serpenty tales...  and really enjoying it, even though I'm not overly fond of snakes. 

I especially liked the fact that Spike developed -- in a believable way -- a non adversarial relationship with the scoobies, and they instead fought real enemies...  It's rare that there isn't some big dust up with Xander, Giles or other scoobs and I'm sooo tired of all that, so this was refreshing for that reason alone, as well as a whole bunch of other reasons, such as a lovely story.

Wheee! That was an incredibly fun story. I still don't get what happened to change Buffy so much, though. And, like Spike, I'm curious what she said to the Scoobies.

I adored Meret, by the way. Exactly what Spike needed, and so cute! I also loved Tara's relationship with Spike.

This fic was great. Meret was utterly adorable. I like how you made Spike and Dawn really become a part of the Scoobies. I also like the sorta Spike/Anya friendship and how she helped curb Willow's magic problem. I can't wait to read the sequel.

That was wonderful. A fully realized story - with great interaction between the characters. You got their voices down and, I keep going back to the plot, the story line was really really good. I certainly hope more threats of violence won't be necessary to make you post more of your work. I'll certainly be reading it.

Great healing scene. Very touching, especially Buffy's comment on Meret. I very much love the fact that Spike fist act of revenge upon having his chip weakened is to smack Xander. Very in character, but still relatively benign.

I'm curious to see what it is Giles is not quite revealing.

Is Darla Maclin's patron? Will Spike, Meret and the rest of his clan get to kill this evil thing soon? Do we get Christmas presents soon?

Glad to see Buffy finally has a larger part in the story. Though I love the idea of Meret I have to agree the lack O' Spuffy was getting kinda annoying after the fourth or fifth chapter. But I kept reading anyway and I found I enjoyed it anyway, but still glad we're finally getting down to the heart of the matter  lol.

There were few beings, human or demonic, who could rival Spike in terms of sheer determination.

Isn't that the truth? He's always come thru, no matter what the situation; whether stuck in a wheelchair or thrown out by his sire, hobbled by secret forces or burdened by his own soul -- every time he comes out on top. How could you not love an underdog like that?

Spike.Update soon.I have this story in my head that is set post NFA.Angel has gone insane following the battle,and Spuffy have to take care of him.They're also dealing with Buffy's third pregnancy in two years.(In the story they have two daughters named Taryn and Willa.The two work fast even if all three of her pregnancies were a surprise.)

I gotta say, I love this story. At first I was annoyed that there wasn't enough spuffy, but now, I'm just looking forward to the story. Great job!

I enjoy Spike's shower meditation. It's a good way to keep him grounded with reality. The picnic was a wonderful reconnection between the four friends. I adore Meret's attempt to smooth things over with buffalo wings.

What a fun picnic for the housebroken vamp, his little dragon and two of his ladies. He seems to be acquiring a harem. Still no answer to the danger of Willow hearing Meret and therefore everybody else. I hope Meret can block her out and knows she should keep her out. Love this story and thank you for sharing.

Good idea to have Tara stay at the crypt for a bit. She and Spike are good for each other.

Lucky for Buffy that Spike got that money. I never could quite stomach Buffy working in the Doublemeat Palace while her friends lived and hung out at her house for free. Willow's parents were rich and Tara had money for school and board. Rant over.

And then I kept reading, and oh that made so much more sense.
