Can't wait for the next chapter! Its so much fun to read about the 80s (born in 87, so I have no memories before about 1992), and Buffy freaking out over her looks was too funny.

Funny - I was just thinking about Jem and the Holograms a couple of days ago. Couldn't remember the name of the show, though, just the pink-haired rockstar and her friends. (Thanks for keeping my brain from exploding with frustration!)

Oh I love it, I can't wait to see what Buffy is like, hopefully not the cyndi louper look.

On her chair in the place of her Nine West leather coat was a Barracuda jacket. No longer was the small Coach clutch she had spent a small fortune hanging off the closet door. Instead, she saw a teal Jordache hobo style purse. - Dawn must be killed. LOL

Well seems Buffy really got the bad end of Dawn's wish, what with looking like a disaster even by 80's standpoint. And weren't the 80's a huge fashion disaster in their own right? I wonder how the gang will respond to this living flashback

I like the part where Buffy admits to herself that she likes having Spike around, even around her friends. Not too much, just a little break in the ice.

Lol I just saw I read it before. But it was some time ago. Therefore a new comment, it was like reading from the start :-D

I saw the summary and got curious. It's an interesting start. Sad to see that Buffy can't be honest to herself and acknowledge that she likes to be with Spike and keeps it a secret. Like I'm glad that she wanted to Spike to watch with them but she wasn't able to be honest and tell that; rather making fun of Spike again.
And she is trusting him indeed (like the seating when they were watching TV).
*gg* And it was Dawn who did the wish. Looking forward to find out what they'll do (how they'll manage) in the 80's.
