As I Should Be by slaymesoftly Jags 02/09/2012 10:07 pm One Oi! That can't be it. I refuse to believe it. There has to be a sequel or...something. Several, actually. :) Although it was meant to just be a hopeful stand-alone when first written In a way more heart rending than the original, but at least this way there's hope. Blue *nods* That was the idea. :) Very poignant ficlet. Wonderfully written. Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. :) alým 03/25/2008 05:24 pm One Way better than its origin. Loved it. Thank you. I'm glad you liked it. :) Michelle D. 03/05/2008 04:25 am One Wow! I'm glad you wrote a sequel - I must have overlooked this story. Enjoyed your twist on the break-up scene. It is hopeful but it doesn’t seem out of character. If only… Thank you, I"m glad you liked it. That's what I was going for - hopeful, but still a breakup. I felt that Buffy's behavior while she was breaking Spike's heart indicating feelings and, at least, affection on her part - so I took that and went in a slightly different directions. All4Spike 09/24/2006 02:25 pm One Oh much better than the real episode, much better. At last she's beginning to admit her true feelings. Thanks :) ~*~Tasha~*~ 07/22/2006 07:18 am One Dang Patti. Whew. That was one heck of a fic. :) Thanks, Tasha BuffyRat 07/14/2006 06:20 am One Wow, they didn't even exactly break up, and still its one of the saddest things. They should never have to say good-bye. I do hope there's more. This was wonderful and filled with so much emotion. Thanks for sharing. Thanks - glad you liked it. Robyn 07/10/2006 10:23 am One I love how much more this added to that scene. Instead of the empty feeling of sadness this left us with a feeling of hope. Thanks. thanks for reading - glad you liked my somewhat more hopeful look at it. vladt 07/10/2006 01:11 am One wonderful read, thank you You're welcome. Thanks for reading. aww, that was incredible!! I still have tears in my eyes! You captured there feelings and motives perfectly with this fic! Thank you for sharing Thanks. *hands you a tissue* Bridget 07/09/2006 05:44 pm One Great take on that scene in as you were. As usual Josh left us wanting more. Thanks for the dialogue. Thank you - I'm glad you liked it. I just felt there was more that needed to be said. just sue 07/09/2006 04:29 pm One *sniffles* Thank you. *hugs* *hugs* back and hands you a tissue. Lou 07/09/2006 02:55 pm One Beautifully done! Thank you. willowmouse 07/09/2006 10:50 am One this could have a wonderful sequel! beautiful story, wish thats how it really went :) thank you - I'm glad you liked it. Aww, now that was just heartbreaking. See, this is GOOD angst. Great stuff. Thanks - glad you liked it. :) This need a few other chapters to wrap it up;)) It's good, but it would be even better as the start of a longer fic! we'll see... thanks for reviewing. golddrake 07/09/2006 05:26 am One great fic Thanks! Wow. Just gorgeous, absolutely positively wonderful. Beautiful and all other good adjectives. :) All good adjectives gratefully accepted and appreciated. Thank you. Verda 07/09/2006 03:08 am One Wished it would've happened that on the show...with hope. Any chance you might continue this? you've already got a good start. Hope it's not a one short. Thanks for the good read. thanks - no decision about continuing, although obviously it could be. We'll see what the muse brings. Wouldn't it have been nice if their break-up was treated with just a tiny bit of maturity? Lovely read, Patti. Thank you, Megan. Nice to hear your "voice" LOL. I was afraid you'd left us completely. I felt Buffy would have tried to be a bit more careful of his feelings - and that he wouldn't have given up without a fight. that was lovely...left him with much more hope than the actual show...reveals great insight into the characters and what they were going through at the time...are you continuting this or is it a one-shot? cause if you are i wanna put it on my list so i dont miss it! an excellent start! Thanks - yes, I thought that scene needed a bit of hope, and bit of a sense that Buffy did care about him in some fashion. It was meant to be a one-shot, but that depends on the muse - and hasn't been very obedient lately. :) Oh this plays much better than what went down onscreen. I hope she's VERY sorry ...:::snerk:::... A bit of absence may be all she needed. Excellent. K Thank you. :) | |||
