I just sat down and read everything so far.  Lovely story.  The turned Buffy concept is always one of my favorites and I really like how you've handled it and the emotions that come with it.

I love seeing Buffy acknowledge how she really feels for Spike!  It seems like this new version of Buffy is much more honest with herself about reality.  Her need to protect Spike is endearing!  I'm sure you are your own worst critic, that's usually how it works, but I think you should be proud of this story!

Buffy's reaction to her Turning...or whatever it was... are interesting.  I liked her "sitting on a sledgehammer" comment. 
I'm sort of surprised Joyce hasn't shown up...or Dawn, maybe.  I liked the protective side of Dawn you showed in the chapter where Spike tells her family.

Glad to see another chapter up, that's what started me reading again.  I think I read the first chaps while I was still lurking.  Hope RL starts getting better and you are doing a great job with this story.

 Great interaction between these characters.  I really "the softer side" of Spike.  I'm looking forward to Buffy's growth as a new "being" and Spike's role in that. 

I loved this chapter. Buffy's reactions are very realistic but still display her softer side, and I'm sure seeing her advanced Slayer side will be an interesting comparison. I wonder how Spike will react? Also, I love the Sire-Childe relationship they're falling into, and Spike already being a protective, caring individual. So looking forward to more!

I really love this fic, and I'm glad you started updating again or I would have never found it!  I love the way Buffy and Spike are with each other, they had me in tears for the first 2 chapters.  And this new Vamp!Slayer thing that Buffy has going is really interesting.  Can't wait to find out more about that!

Your update has just introduced me to this story and I really like your take on Buffy's turning.
I am sorry to hear about your loss. I lost my dad a couple of weeks ago. We weren't really close when I was growing up, but we'd become closer, especially after I had kids. I like to think that everything happens for a reason and everyone has their time. I think that my dad must have completed his life's work, despite the plans he had for the coming year. I tell myself that my job now is to take what I learned from him and from our relationship and improve my life and the lives of those around me.
Take heart in the joy that your grandmother gave you and spread it around. That will be her legacy.

I know I've never reviewed one of your fics...not sure if I've ever even read one before. Your A/N struck me, though. I'm so sorry to hear about the chaos of your life. My grandma sounds a lot like yours, although she wasn't particularly small - I think she was about 5'10... at any rate, maybe mine got assigned to yours' orientation program in the afterlife and they're having a grand old time. I still miss her a lot.
I just started this story this evening and I'm really enjoying it. Buffy getting turned stories usually don't particularly do it for me, but I like the way your handling this. I can't wait to see where it goes.

I am so happy that this is updating again! And a very good job on this chapter, with Spike's worries so real and the peace they seem to find in the other calming them. Can't wait to learn more about a Slayer's version of a vampire demon!

Oh, I really liked this version of a turned Slayer. I'm also glad Yzba didn't make Spike a selfish demon that has no need for humans now Buffy is a vampire. It's May now, and I really hope this story gets updated as I can't wait to find out more legends of the Slayer, Buffy's powers, and Spike showing what he's really like and some Spuffy loving! Loved it!

Thanks for having Giles use Anya for information. Always thought that she was a wealth of information that no one used. Glad that Joyce wasn't upset with Spike, just happy that her daughter was still walking around, they'd work out the details later. Dawn's worried for both of them knowing what she does about vampires. Want's her sister to still have her soul and not dust her best friend. So glad Joyce has faith in him. Guess Giles and Willow loved her enough to want her around, even if she's a vamp. Great chapter, thanks.

oh very nice. this is a twist i hadn't expected. I'm glad he's turning her. I'm not normally a huge fan of vampire buffy, but she's growing on me and her being a vampire should probably help her to be able to emotionally recover from what's been done to her. The special sire/childe bond with Spike should help a lot as well. Great chapter!
