Spike's a stupid idiot, but I love him anyway, as did Buffy. Give me a break, why didn't Buffy wuv meee? Spike can't be that delusional to think that he was this perfect guy that never did anything to hurt her or make her doubt him. There's a lot of things Buffy had to get past. He should thank his lucky stars that he's pretty. :P

You know, if I had time to write fanfic, this story would have given me an idea. What if Buffy, in Rome - all strictly canon up till the very end... had gotten an anonymous postcard from LA that just said "Your one true love survived the apocalypse. The other one didn't."
