I really enjoy this story.jack's part has surprised me a lot but it seems to me possible your hypothes that he went to NY to forget and be punished.buffy part so sweet and dramatic...hurting my heart.im looking forward go on reading your story.all my congrats from spain!

Wonderful to read this once more - I love your treatment of Spike, Jack and their mutual trauma channeled through their relationship - NICE series connect with Nikki - also makes a good metaphor, Buffy as slayer being in NYC trying to put to rest their deadly relationship from sunnydale - new beginnings for both.

That was intense, to say the least. I was a little weirded out at first... you know, Spike and boys. I almost stopped reading. But I just kept on going because I was curious and I'm so glad I did. It just made so much sense, surprisingly enough. The emotions in this fic were very raw and well described. You're a great writer and I enjoyed your story very much. Proof, it's 4am and I'm still sitting in front of my computer lol. Didn't expect it to be this long when I started reading, but again, I'm glad I did. I guess I'll just have to wait until tomorrow to read the sequel because seriously, I need some sleep ;)

your buffy certainly matured. spike and buffy actually communicating makes very entertaining reading. the love the tale, thanks for the fantastic read.

This fic and the sequel are two of my all-time favorites. And that's saying something seeing as how I really don't like slash. It's saying even more seeing as how I really don't like fics that assume Spike didn't really seek out his soul. But all the greatness won me over in a big way. Love the voices. Really love the subtle and insightful commentary on Buffy's limitations in season 6. Love your Spike's lovingkindness. etc. etc. O.K., I'll stop now. Others have sung the praises of this fic in better voices than mine.
